If you are searching for an obsolete, one-off or hard to find copper and brass heater core for your 230SL, 250SL, 280SL - W113 Chassis Mercedes you are not alone and you may be in luck. We make our own cores and fabricate our own tanks so, naturally, we get asked to build custom heater cores or "small radiators."  

This is important! Your heater core has an integrated valve.  The presence of the valve prohibits conventional testing e.g. the air pressure opens the valve.  We will test the heater core absent the valve and solder the tube (and valve) after testing. 

Should your valve be compromised the entire valve and/or require a rebuild kits they are available for ~250 and we are happy to install.  If that seems too much we have an alternative valve design at no cost.  If you do not tell us to keep it OE the we use our alternative design.
