A few notes on this truckĀ

1927 was the first year that Chevy offered a factory cab..Ā  Most 1/2 ton pickup looking trucks of the era were canopy express or other "single unit" bodies not the two unit bodies of a cab and box.Ā  Chevy did had available a pickup box (made by another supplier) that could be placed into the trunk area on a Coupe or Roadster. On the 1 ton trucks the cabs were supplied by Chevrolet but the bodies by another supplier such as Martin Parry, Hercules, Springfield, etc.
